Watsu is a form of massage used for deep relaxation and improved body function. It was developed by Harold Dull at Harbin Hot Springs, California in the early 1980s. Watsu combines elements of stretching, joint mobilization, massage, and Shiatsu performed in warm water. The recipient is gently cradled, moved, stretched, and massaged throughout the session.
